The Bengal is a medium to large domestic feline that originates from the crossings of the small Asian Leopard Cat (ALC) to the domestic cat in an attempt to create a companion with an "exotic" look but a domestic temperament. After four to five generations of Bengal-to-Bengal breeding, the breed is recognized for championship competition by most international domestic cat associations including TICA, ACFA, GCCF, and AACE.
I am Brooke Baird a self employed mother of three wonderful children. My husband has been breeding dogs for 25 years so genetics and breeding has been a shared interest in our family for a long time. My goal is to have an award winning show cat in the future. The breeding of Bengal's has become a family hobby, including my dad who has become the "official photographer".
When looking for a new family pet my children and I came across the Bengal cat and fell in love. We decided that we would like to breed Bengal's as a shared experience. The results have given us a great deal of satisfaction and enjoyment. We researched to ensure that our breeding cats came from caring and responsible breeders. We continue to learn from and about these tenacious, fearless and loving cats. We treat our kittens as part of the family. They are uncaged and hand raised, and they are ready for a new home.
